How many new features has Palmtech released so far this year?
Since the start of 2026, we have rolled out 52 new features, 17 of which came directly from feedback requested by you, our customers. You asked for faster report writing, less desk time, and better automation – and we delivered.
With the launch of Palmtech 11 back in February, we introduced smarter AI tools and the report customization inspectors wanted, all while keeping the simplicity and speed you rely on every day. We didn’t rest on our laurels after that major release, either. Earlier this summer, we continued to innovate by bringing a new Summary Organization capability to the Report Designer, and in June, we dropped our much-anticipated Online Scheduler.

What is Palmtech 11 and how does it save me time on site?
Palmtech 11 is the next generation of our home inspection software, built on more than 25 years of industry experience. This update focuses heavily on cutting out repetitive administrative tasks and speeding up your report writing process so you can pack your schedule with more inspections or get home earlier.
How do the new AI features assist my workflow?
We added two major AI-powered tools inside Palmtech 11 to act as your digital assistant while you walk a property:
- AI Comment Helper: Need help phrasing a complex finding? The comment helper suggests clear, professional text on the fly, keeping your reports consistent and saving you from typing out massive paragraphs by hand
- AI Image Defect Detector: This tool automatically analyzes the photos you take during an inspection, flags potential defects, and immediately generates detailed narrative comments for your report
What changes did you make to the report comments and ratings?
We revamped how standardized comments are managed and introduced a brand-new rating system to clear up report clutter:
- Comment library & narrative support: You can now effortlessly save, organize, and reuse standardized comments, making it simple to pull text into future jobs while keeping your documents highly readable for clients and agents
- Line-Level Ratings: You can now mark routine, defect-free items with a quick rating and absolutely no comment required. This keeps you moving fast through the easy parts of an inspection. You can choose to go line-by-line or let the software auto-select ratings based on your comment choices
Can I customize how my clients see their inspection reports?
Yes. The completely overhauled Report Designer gives you full control over your presentation, including what inspection details to include. You can tailor your templates and modify your cover pages with your own branding, logos, and contact details.
How does the new Summary Organization feature work?
Our early summer update brought major enhancements to your report summaries. Instead of a rigid layout, with Palmtech’s new Summary Organization feature, you now have a highly flexible interface to structure your summary exactly how you – and your real estate agents – want it.
You can place the summary at the top or the end of your report, organize findings by specific categories or defect severity ratings, throw in key photos, and preview the entire section before hitting send.
Can clients book inspections when I am stuck in a crawlspace?
They can now. In June, we officially launched the Palmtech Online Scheduler, a 24/7 self-service portal that you can embed right on your website. Instead of losing jobs to missed phone calls while you’re busy holding a flashlight, clients and real estate agents can check your real-time availability, view upfront pricing, enter property details like square footage, choose their preferred inspector, and book the job entirely on their own.
